Each tub contains approx. 4 oz of shaving soap.
The soap makes a great lather and shaves smoothly with my DE razor. The smell of lavender is not overpowering with subtle notes of freshly cut, aromatic wood, perhaps some tiny hints of pine needles also. The only downside is that there is a slight sting and irritation to the skin if you don't shave quick enough but that it isn't all that noticeable. The soap has lasted me about 6 months with conservative use (2 or 3 shaves a week) and has what I would say another 2 months left. This comes down to the ultimate answer: Would I buy it again? Yes.
Product has changed from last time I purchased, was white colored, now pinkish. Didn't try it yet.
