First Foray Into Shaving Soaps

Purchased a safety razor recently so figured I would also try out a proper, hard shaving soap. I needed a vegan soap and read online that it doesn’t get much better than LASSC. I didn't want to get into the fancy scents just yet so I opted for this unscented version.

This soap did not disappoint! Lathered easily and produced a super smooth shave. The instructions on the tin were straightforward and I was able to produce a good lather despite it being my first time shaving with a brush and hard soap. Great product. Can’t wait to try out the scenty stuff!

Highly recommend!

I got this with the beginner wetshaving kit back in december '19. It was easy to learn and is far superior to any result I have gotten with a cartridge razor.

This soap lathers up thick and has been kind to my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It is almost entirely scentless, a must for me since anything scented on my hair or face drives me mad. I have about 1/3 of this puck left after six months of shaving 2-3 times per week. Still love it so I'm buying another one right now :o) Try this brand, you won't be disappointed.
